Care Hub
How to look after every material we use — washing, drying, ironing, and storage. Good care extends garment life and reduces overall environmental footprint.
Organic Cotton
Washing
Machine wash cold (30°C), gentle cycle. Use mild, pH-neutral detergent.
Drying
Air dry in shade. Avoid direct sunlight to preserve colour.
Ironing
Medium heat (150–180°C) when slightly damp. Iron on reverse side for coloured pieces.
Storage
Fold rather than hang for knits. Hang shirts to maintain shape.
Also worth knowing
- Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry on high heat.
- Wash with similar colours to prevent colour transfer.
- The fabric will soften and improve with every wash — this is expected.
Linen
Washing
Machine wash cold to warm (up to 40°C), gentle cycle. Hand wash is also suitable.
Drying
Air dry flat or hang to dry away from direct sun. Do not wring.
Ironing
High heat (200–220°C) while slightly damp on linen setting for crispness. Or embrace the natural texture.
Storage
Hang to maintain shape. Linen breathes — it doesn't need sealed storage.
Also worth knowing
- Linen wrinkles naturally — this is a feature, not a defect.
- Do not dry clean. No bleach on coloured linen.
- Linen gets stronger and softer with washing — wear it often.
Bamboo Viscose
Washing
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Or hand wash. Never wring.
Drying
Press gently between towels to remove water. Lay flat to dry. No tumble drying.
Ironing
Low heat if needed. Bamboo viscose smooths easily — don't over-iron.
Storage
Fold or hang. Keep away from rough surfaces that might snag.
Also worth knowing
- Do not bleach or use fabric softener.
- Bamboo viscose is delicate when wet — handle gently.
- Store away from direct light to preserve colour.
Recycled Polyester
Washing
Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Close all zips and velcro. Use a microfibre-catching wash bag.
Drying
Tumble dry low to reactivate DWR finish. Or hang to dry.
Ironing
Do not iron the outer shell. Lining may be ironed on low heat.
Storage
Pack into the integrated stuff pocket when not in use (for packable styles).
Also worth knowing
- Use a Guppyfriend bag or similar to catch microfibres during washing.
- Re-wash periodically to maintain DWR water-resistant finish.
- Do not use fabric softener — it degrades DWR performance.
Beyond care — repair
When a garment needs more than good care, bring it to our Indiranagar studio. We assess and repair seams, buttons, zips, linings, and small tears.
